The Singapore Island Country Club
Executive Housekeeper
Reporting to the Director of Operations & Facilities, the incumbent will be responsible for:
- Ensure adequate numbers of facilities assistants and contract cleaners to meet the requirements of the housekeeping function
- Supervise housekeeping duties of facilities assistants
- Ensure that services provided by contractors comply with specifications in their respective contracts
- Monitor supply of toiletries and towels, and ensure that there are enough to meet demand
- Coordinate and supervise allocation of resources to facilitate Club activities
- Ensure that first aid kits and oxygen tanks are maintained in proper conditions
- Control issuing of staff uniforms
- Place orders for inventory when required
- Other duties as assigned by Director of Operations & Facilities in relation to Housekeeping Operations
The incumbent is expected to possess at least a GCE “O” Levels, with at least 5 to 8 years' of relevant working experience in leading Hotels, Country Clubs or the Hospitality related industry. He / She should have good supervisory and organisational skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to follow routines with an eye for detail. Computer literate in MS Office would also be essential.
